JWA questions

What is JWA?

JWA is short for Jurassic World Alive, Ludia's free location-based mobile game, released in 2018. You explore a real-world map to dart dinosaurs for DNA, open supply drops, fuse hybrids and battle other players in the Arena, in tournaments and in raids. JWA Edge is an independent fan reference for it.

How many dinosaurs are in Jurassic World Alive?

This Dinodex lists 529 creatures: 274 base creatures and 255 hybrids and super hybrids, including 57 Apex and 34 Omega creatures. Dinosaurs make up most of the roster, alongside flying and marine reptiles, early mammals and other prehistoric animals.

What are the newest JWA dinosaurs?

The latest additions are Arsionotops, One Arm Baryonyx, Ovinnonyx, Peloroplites, Pelorosuchus and Quetzalvexus and 2 more. The grid above sorts newest first by default, so new creatures appear at the top as soon as they are added.

What is the best dinosaur in JWA?

On raw stats, the JWA Edge tier list ranks every creature by effective health against expected damage, with Apex and Omega boards of their own. The best pick for your team still depends on moves, resistances and counters, which each creature page lays out.

What is the difference between hybrids, Apex and Omega creatures?

Hybrids are fused from the DNA of two creatures, and super hybrids from a hybrid and at least one other creature. Apex creatures are the rarest tier, most of them earned by beating raid bosses. Omega creatures grow through their own training points instead of boosts, so their stats are listed untrained.

Is JWA Edge a JWA wiki?

It covers what you would look up in a wiki, built for planning: every creature's stats, moves, resistances, counters and fusion costs, plus a stat tier list, raid strategies, tournament standings and a supply drop guide. It is kept current with each game update.
