Two weekly tracks, ten ranks, five tasks a rank: every JWA alliance mission target, what it pays and when it resets.
Updated · By JWA Edge
Alliance missions in short
Alliance Missions are weekly goals in Jurassic World Alive, Ludia's location-based mobile game, that every member of an Alliance works on together. There are two tracks, Exploration (map tasks) and Defense (battle tasks), each with ten ranks of five tasks. Every rank your Alliance clears upgrades that track's incubator of guaranteed DNA, and everything resets each Monday at 15:00 UTC.
Each task also pays Game Coins or Game Cash. The incubator's DNA depends on the rank reached and on your own player level, and the reward creatures rotate between themed sets.

The basics
How do alliance missions work?
The game puts it simply: work with your Alliance to complete sets of 5 missions and rank up your incubator reward, then collect it at the end of the week. You need to be in an Alliance; open your Alliance tab and tap Missions.
Everyone adds to the same countEach task tracks the Alliance's total. Whatever any member does toward a task adds to that shared total.
Clear all five to rank upA rank is a set of five tasks. Finishing the set moves that track to the next rank and a bigger target.
Two tracks, climbed separatelyExploration and Defense keep their own rank, so an Alliance can be on Rank 8 in one and Rank 5 in the other.
Collect at the resetThe incubator for each track grows with its rank. Collect it at the end of the week; ranks start over every Monday.

The current system has ten ranks per track and resets on Mondays at 15:00 UTC. Older guides that describe five ranks and a Tuesday reset describe an older form of the missions. The mission screen also shows a Qualification rank before Rank 1; I have not confirmed what it requires, so it is not in the tables below.

Alliance mission rewards: the incubators
Each track has one incubator for the week, and its rank decides how much it holds. The incubator only contains guaranteed creature DNA: no random rolls, coins or boosts. It upgrades through five looks as the Alliance climbs.

What is inside, and why it changes
Every incubator holds DNA for five creatures. The creatures come from a themed set that the game rotates, sometimes weekly and sometimes for several weeks in a row, so this page explains how the rewards work rather than listing one set of creatures. The two tracks have 35 reward themes between them, some in more than one version, each built around a creature family or a battle style: armored creatures, pterosaurs, Cenozoic mammals, raptors and theropods, fierce apex hunters, stunners, swap-in specialists, creatures with high health, fast creatures, feathered creatures, furry creatures, carnivores used in hybrids, and the Alliance Mission Collection. Exploration and Defense usually carry different creatures in the same week.
Themed weeks
Most themes pay two Common creatures, two Rare and one Epic from the theme.

Collection weeks
The Alliance Mission Collection raises the rarity: two Rare creatures, an Epic, a Legendary and an Omega. The weeks starting 7, 14 and 21 September 2026 all used this layout.

How much DNA: by rank and player level
The amount per creature is set by its rarity, the rank reached and your player level, so two members of the same Alliance can open very different incubators. At level 20, a Collection week incubator grows from 3,125 DNA at Rank 1 to 6,235 at Rank 10. Choose your level and a rank:

Timing
When do alliance missions reset?
Alliance missions reset every Monday at 15:00 UTC. Ranks and task progress reset, and the reward creatures change whenever the game rotates in a new themed set.

US summer time runs from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November; UK and EU summer time runs from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October. Sydney's own summer time runs October to April, which is why its reset falls an hour later in the northern winter. Strategy
How to rank up faster
Averages below assume 50 members, the largest Alliance size I have seen in the standings, aiming for Rank 10.
Darting fills three Exploration tasks
Every darting run adds darts fired, direct hits and DNA collected at once. Rank 10 asks for 14,000 darts and 12,000 direct hits, about 280 darts and 240 hits per member toward Rank 10's targets alone.
Supply drops are quick wins
2,500 drops at Rank 10 is 50 per member toward that rank's target alone, about 7 a day. Drops reopen every 15 minutes, so a short loop does it. See supply drops and chests.
Creature Care is the smallest target
Only 65 care actions at Rank 10, but they must happen in shared Sanctuaries. Make sure a few members have one going early in the week so it never holds up a rank.
Battles feed two Defense tasks
Battles played count toward Defense Training, and knocking out enemy creatures toward Attack Practice: 1,500 battles and 2,000 takedowns at Rank 10, or 30 and 40 per member.
Open your incubators before the reset
Fusion Supplies needs 700 incubators opened at Rank 10 (14 per member), and Daily Defense only 36 Daily Battle Incubators, fewer than one per member in a full Alliance.
Donate DNA to Alliance mates
DNA Donation reaches 40,000 at Rank 10, 800 per member. Filling each other's DNA requests helps the mission and the player who asked, and donations also count toward the Social achievements.
Watch the late jumps
Targets do not grow evenly. Direct hits go from 2,750 at Rank 7 to 5,000 at Rank 8 and 12,000 at Rank 10; DNA collected climbs to 700,000. Push the slow tasks early instead of the easy ones.
Split the work
The tracks rank separately, so players who mostly explore can carry Exploration while battlers carry Defense. Check the reset countdown on Sunday so nothing is left open.
Common questions
What are alliance missions in Jurassic World Alive?
Alliance missions are weekly team goals for everyone in an Alliance, on two tracks with their own incubator. Once you have joined an Alliance, open your Alliance tab and tap Missions. Progress from every member counts toward the same totals.
What is the difference between Exploration and Defense missions?
Exploration tasks happen on the map: collecting DNA, direct dart hits, firing darts, opening supply drops and caring for creatures in shared Sanctuaries. Defense tasks happen in battle and around it: playing battles, takedowns, opening Daily Battle Incubators, opening incubators and donating DNA. Each track has its own rank and its own incubator.
How many ranks do alliance missions have?
Alliance missions have ten ranks on each track, Rank 1 to Rank 10, with five tasks per rank: 50 tasks per track and 100 in all. Targets climb steeply, from 25 supply drops at Rank 1 to 2,500 at Rank 10.
What do alliance missions give you?
Alliance missions pay two kinds of reward. Every task pays Game Coins or Game Cash, with bigger payouts at higher ranks: across all ten ranks that is 15,200 Game Coins and 110 Game Cash on Exploration, and 15,200 Game Coins and 110 Game Cash on Defense. Each track also ends the week with an incubator of guaranteed creature DNA, which grows from Basic to Diamond as your Alliance ranks up.
Do alliance mission rewards depend on player level?
Yes. The incubator DNA is set by your player level as well as the rank. At Rank 10 of a Collection week, a level 10 player gets 3,119 DNA from one incubator, a level 20 player 6,235 and a level 35 player 7,196. Common DNA stops growing at level 20.
When do alliance missions reset?
Alliance missions reset every Monday at 15:00 UTC: 11:00 AM in New York and 4:00 PM in London during summer time, and 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM in winter. The countdown on this page shows the time left in your own time zone.
When do you collect the alliance mission incubator?
You collect each track's alliance mission incubator once the week is over. The game describes it as ranking up your incubator through the week, then collecting it once the week is over. Ranks and task progress reset with the week.
Are alliance missions the same as the alliance championship?
No. Alliance missions and the alliance championship are separate. The championship is a points race between alliances during tournaments; see the alliance championship standings. Alliance missions are the weekly cooperative tasks on this page, and every Alliance can reach Rank 10 without beating anyone.
