  1. Builds. Every creature at level 26, with no Omega training and no boosts, so only the kit and base stats matter.
  2. Round robin. Every creature fought every other one, 37,056 battles, searched 8 turns ahead with up to 200,000 positions per battle. Each pair is played twice so both get the first move, and the two results are averaged. The engine uses the game’s turn rules: speed order, critical hits at their expected rate, counters, swap-in and on-escape moves, shields, dodge, damage over time and the like. Win rate is the average over all opponents.
  3. The eight. For any opponent, the four drawn from your eight give you their best answer. Its one-on-one result, weighted by the chance it’s drawn, averaged over every opponent, is the team score (99% here). Starting from the top eight, JWA Edge swapped members while the score went up.
  4. Team battles. Full four-on-four battles with the battle simulator playing both sides: it chooses moves, swaps when a swap beats its best move, and picks knockout replacements. It takes the most likely outcome each turn, so these are expected results, not dice rolls.
